Paul is a consistent Sub-3 Hour Marathon runner and Ironman Hawaii World Championship Qualifier
Paul's journey to endurance success had an unusual start. At school he focussed on 200m, and he found anything longer a real challenge.
Many years later has talked into doing his first 10km.
Bitten by the running bug, he found the formula for running consistently sub-3 hours across the World Marathon Majors, and the breakthrough came when he started fuelling with UCAN.
He has been competing in Ironman Triathlons for 10 years, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the World Championship in Kona. After following a more traditional sports nutrition approach, he has walked more Ironman marathons than he cares to recall due to stomach issues.
In 2021, by changing one variable, and switching to UCAN, he took over 2 hours off his finish time and qualified for the World Championships.
His experience shows that endurance events, and the common approach of fuelling for them, can wreak havoc on the digestive system. He is a firm believer that UCAN offers a solution for achieving high performance without loading more stress onto our bodies.
He now coaches athletes to achieve their goals, with a focus on "Performance and Longevity", which embodies the UCAN approach
